A new addition to the already popular Sunday Sessions here at the Loft Lounge, Mel becomes one of only 2 female vocals that we have here on a regular basis. As the lead singer of a 4 piece band called A.K.A, Mel has branched off for us to perform a wide variety of classic pop, rock and country classics from artists such as Oasis, Eva Cassidy, Stereophonics and Paul Weller to name a few!

Mel has been performing since the tender age of 12, playing the guitar to accompany her vocal talent. She has appeared on multiple TV shows; BBC and Channels 4 and 5 among others, has toured Europe and parts of the US and has had a number of sessions on BBC Radio.
